Support cannot buy a conclusion

A nonprofit community may receive sponsorship or in-kind support, but support must not purchase a favorable method, result or ranking. Commercial, investment and sponsorship relationships relevant to a public record should be disclosed in a form readers can understand.

Participants can correct factual errors about their systems. They cannot remove representative failures simply because those records are uncomfortable, provided publication permission and safety requirements have been satisfied.

Separate the layers of judgment

An observation states what happened. An interpretation explains a plausible reason. A conclusion describes what the available evidence supports. Keeping these layers distinct reduces the risk that expectation or commercial interest is presented as fact.

RobotBay avoids opaque composite scores. Evidence dimensions can be shown separately so readers can see completion, repeatability, intervention, setup, failure and recovery without hiding trade-offs behind one number.

Consent and boundaries

People, organizations, venues and partnerships appear publicly only after confirmation and consent. Private customer, procurement and commercial data remain separate from RobotBay's public knowledge work.

Failure records are valid outputs. So are unresolved questions and boundaries that prevent deployment. Independence is not a claim of perfect neutrality; it is a set of practices that make influence, evidence and limitations visible enough to inspect.
